Levuka

April 27, 2017

Levuka was the first colonial settlement in Fiji and became its capital in 1874. It retains that colonial small town air and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. The Methodist Church established its first school here and it remains a notable centre of excellence. Extensive damage caused by cyclone Winston is being repaired and the District Superintendent is mobile again thanks to an outboard motor given by the World Mission Fund.
