Partnership visit to MC Kenya

March 21, 2019

I attended one of the growing Methodist Churches in Kenya – All Saints Church, Meru on Sunday morning. There are two services every Sunday morning with more than 500 people in attendance.

The church planted a sister church -St Paul’s few years ago and recently started a third one at Meru. St Paul’s is a very vibrant church popular with youths and students. Meru is about 300 miles away from Nairobi and has a high number of schools and institutions including Kenya Methodist University (KeMU).

MC Kenya also promotes social activities to empower its members as well as its communities to alleviate poverty.

It is a welcoming church that focuses on evangelism and church planting. Both youths and adults participate in leading during their services whilst its evangelists work closely within its surrounding communities. All Saints wishes to twin with a MCB church or circuit to share ideas, strategies and testimonies.

Psalm 55:22 – Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you, he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
