Partnership visit to MC Uganda

September 28, 2017

Below was the recently installed solar panel sponsored directly by some Methodists based in England. The solar panel supplies 24 hour power for the school office and the hall used as crèche for toddlers at Nambula Methodist preparatory school, Buyende District – Uganda

Close-by was the manse pictured below where the mounted solar panel also provided sufficient 24 hour power supply for the whole building and its environs. The manse was previously ravaged by fire but now restored.

I was impressed by the intensity of the light bulb energy within and without the building. The community is awaiting electric supply therefore many of the rural dwellers were thankful for this

Kamuli community members now benefit from the power supply however demand has outstripped supply. The community hall was also used for meetings as well as other public gatherings in the evening with 24 hour solar energy available

Thank you.

Kind regards
