Peace

Prayer is a risk, so said our worship leader this morning in Ohio as the conference on walking with Palestinian Christians opened. We risk, in prayer, entering the heart of God. The names of the hundreds of children killed in Gaza were streaming across the screen before us. There are many tears here.
We are discussing ‘holy justice and peace’ and seeking ways forward.
Our joint effort in the Methodist Liaison Office in Jerusalem with the General Board of Global Ministry of the United Methodist Church is part of our initiative and is on the agenda.
Today i lead a workshop and tomorrow lead the conference of several hundred in prayer. These are challenging days. Pray for us and for the Holy Land.
