Mission Partner

January 9, 2020

Anne Baldwin will have served as a Mission Partner in Sri Lanka for two years in March and will return to Britain on the last day of that month.

After having earlier spent time at TCL as a volunteer on our Encounter Worldwide programme, she returned as a Mission Partner, joining the teaching staff with responsibilities in English teaching, in the library and in pastoral care for students. As with all Mission Partner placements, many other tasks present themselves, needless to say.

She and I took time away from the campus to review her time, the future and the placement at the College.

Anne has had a good and profitable time here. Plenty of delights and challenges. There is no doubt that her contributions have been deeply appreciated and will bear fruit across the Church in Sri Lanka for many years to come.

She will be returning home with plenty of stories and pictures, as well as insights about community and partnership. She will be missed here.

PS You can contact the office or the website for information on becoming a Mission Partner and on booking returned Mission Partners as speakers.
