Pakistan

May 30, 2014

Today at Methodist Church House we had a meeting to discuss the difficulties faced by minority faith communities in Pakistan and how to help support change in that country. Those who attended were, amongst others, Ruth Gee the current President of the Methodist Church, Tamara Wray the current Youth President, and representatives of other organisations involved in Pakistan including Tearfund, All We Can (Methodist Relief and Development), and Us, as well as a member of JPIT (the Joint Public Issues Team). The meeting was enlightening, giving us a wider understanding of the current issues and helping us to reflect on the way we think and write about these issues and how we exercise our mutual partnerships relating to that part of the world.
